Owner Billy’s story is one that will resonate with many independent shop owners. What started as a part-time side job—doing oil changes and small repairs while working at a dealership—gradually turned into something much bigger.

By 2007, Billy made it official, launching his own business. Over the years, he invested in certifications, tools, and most importantly, relationships with customers who kept coming back. Growth came steadily:

From working nights to full-time operations
From a single rented bay to multiple expansions
From solo work to a team of five employees
Now operating with nine lifts and dedicated service areas—including a full transmission workspace

A Strong Foundation in Technical Expertise

Billy’s mechanical background runs deep. Inspired by his father, an Air Force bomber mechanic, Billy went on to serve as a helicopter mechanic in the Marine Corps. That experience translated into a disciplined, detail-oriented approach in the shop.

After leaving the military, he sharpened his skills at a dealership before ultimately going independent—a path many successful shop owners share.

Transmission Work as a Core Specialty
